Salvation

What is the single most important decision you will make in your entire life? Choosing who you will marry? What job you will take? Or perhaps what house you will buy? Actually, the single most important decision you will ever make in your entire life is whether or not you will accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. Christianity is based on the need for Jesus Christ.  God, in all of His goodness and mercy, sent his only son, Jesus, to be the perfect sacrifice (John 3:16) to erase our sin and provide for our redemption.

"...whosoever shall call upon my name (Jesus), shall be saved." John 3:16

Upon belief and acceptance of this free gift from God, all of our sins are completely washed away and each of us become a new creation (II Cor. 5:17).   Having been redeemed, we can establish a relationship with God and become His child (John 1:12). Eternal life with God is just that simple. God loves everyone no matter what they have ever done.  In this video, Pastor Scott Johnson teaches us about the importance of Salvation and leads
us in a prayer to accept Jesus Christ into our hearts and lives.  God, through his Holy Spirit (John 16), may be urging you to accept Christ today.  If that is the case, won’t you watch the video?  And if you ever have questions about Salvation, please call us.  Someone will be happy to guide you into the Kingdom of God.

If your prayed this prayer, and you believe in Jesus (that He came to this earth, died for our sins, and was resurrected).  You are now a new Christian.  It is important that you start attending a Bible Believing Church for you personal Christina growth.  God has called us to live the abundant life.  This is a Biblical promise to Christians who hear and obey Christ.  Over your lifetime you will find that there are many obvious truths in the Bible that help you along the way and some not so obvious.  Mysteries of life can be solved in the scripture, by direct communication with God (prayer), by the Word of God as it is taught in sermons and bible studies, and/or by the inner prompting of the Holy Spirit.

It is very important to find a church with a pastor called by God.  In fact, one of the main reasons God established the Church is so he can communicate with us, giving direction to Christians in this world for our day to day lives, through the voice of a teacher.

Friend, there is so much God has planned for your life.  Your mind is not big enough to comprehend it all.  If you are looking for a church, consider House of Joy Fellowship Church in Webster.  If you choose to attend elsewhere, log into our site weekly for a new message from the throne of God.  And if you ever have questions about your relationship with God, please call us, we will be happy to help.
